SBR joined up with CJSW, Calgary’s campus/community radio station, to release the two-disc set 90.9 With A Bullet: 20 Years of Calgary Music on CJSW in May. The fourth album from the legendary Old Reliable, The Burning Truth, emerged in April. The sophomore album from Falconhawk, Here’s Your Ghost, made the scene in March. Saved By Radio’s first release of 2005 was the second album from The Summerlad, Themes: International. 2004September saw the release of Vailhalen's new CD, Becs d'Oiseaux. On May 1, we celebrated the release of Tim Hus's sophomore album, Alberta Crude. Hot Mouth, the debut album from Calgary synth-pop power trio Falconhawk, was revealed to the world in February 2004. Both BYOP and Hot Mouth were jointly released with Calgary's Catch And Release Recording Collective. 2003SBR's first release was BYOP (Bring Your Own Plywood): Calgary Does Connors, featuring artists from across the Calgary music scene performing the works of the legendary Stompin' Tom Connors.
