Big Screen Country!

Well, okay - maybe medium screen country. (But it doesn't matter how big your screen is, right?...)

Tim Hus's video release party happens this Saturday, June 25, at Broken City right here in Calgary. The song immortalized in film is "Longest Stretch of Road", which you all know and love from Tim's second album, "Alberta Crude". So head down to 11th Ave SW for the 9:00 party start, and kick up a little truckin' dust!

friday in edmonton...

So if you're not in T-dot tonight (like me), and you're in Edmonton instead (not like me), head to The Sidetrack Cafe and check out Vailhalen. They're playing with Hot Little Rocket and The Release as part of neXtfest (it's their 10th anniversary year - congrats, folks!). Should be a rockin' (or poppin'...or both...) good night!

how do you pronounce 'nxne'?

Going to be in Toronto Friday, June 10?

Looking for something to do?

Head to the Saved By Radio NXNE showcase!

Clinton's Tavern (693 Bloor Street W.), 11-1 a.m. AA Sound System (an NXNE pick by NOW Magazine), The Summerlad (who got a mention in Eye Weekly's NXNE quick picks), and Lorrie Matheson and the Brass Tacks (no props, but we know they rock hard...).

Say hi to the gang for me!
